1. Develop and implement cyber security policies, procedures, and standards for the SLAF.2. Monitor the SLAF network for potential security breaches, unauthorized access, and other cyber threats.3. Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses in the Air Force network and systems.4. Collaborate with other IT and security professionals to develop and implement incident response plans in case of cyber attacks or data breaches.5. Investigate and respond to security incidents and breaches, and coordinate with appropriate stakeholders to mitigate and remediate such incidents.6. Develop and implement security awareness and training programs for SLAF personnel to raise awareness of cyber security risks and best practices.7. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in cyber security threats and trends, and provide recommendations on how to mitigate emerging risks.8. Manage security-related technologies and tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other security solutions.9. Review and analyze security logs and other security-related data to identify potential security incidents or vulnerabilities.10. Work with other IT and security teams to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards related to cyber security.11. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the state of cyber security within the SLAF, including recommendations for improvements and best practices.12. Act as a liaison with external cyber security organizations, vendors, and other stakeholders to stay informed of emerging threats and technologies.

1. Manage and maintain servers on various operating systems, including Linux and Windows.2. Manage and maintain firewall technologies like pfSense, including configuring firewall rules, monitoring network traffic, and troubleshooting firewall issues.3. Manage and deploy open-source applications, including cloud-based applications such as Nextcloud, Rocket.Chat, Onlyoffice etc.4. Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud.5. Ensure the security of the entire IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, applications, and data.6. Configure and manage email servers, including troubleshooting email delivery issues setting up email accounts and managing spam filters.7. Manage and troubleshoot web servers Nginx and Apache, including configuring SSL certificates, load balancing, and web application deployment.8. Manage and maintain virtualization technologies like Proxmox and VMware ESXi, including configuring virtual machines, managing snapshots, and troubleshooting virtualization issues.9. Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, responding to system alerts and resolving user-reported problems.10. Design and implement backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure the availability and integrity of the data.11. Configure DNS servers and manage DNS records, including resolving DNS issues.12. Manage upgrades and patches for software and applications to ensure optimal performance and security.13. Monitor the entire IT infrastructure for performance, availability, and security issues and respond to alerts in a timely manner.14. Design scripts to automate day-to-day system admin tasks, including backup and restore operations, software installation and updates, and system monitoring and reporting.15. Manage and maintain Cloudflare, optimizing website performance, and troubleshooting Cloudflare issues.
