Involved in Research & Analysis for both Buy and Sell sides, in the areas of financial analysis, business structures, business growth and deal structures. Coverage spans across the mobile phone industry, including manufacturing, distribution and retail, in Asia Pacific and beyond. Also involved in Business Valuation and Strategy. Headed the Business Planning and Strategy exercise for GlobalRoam, involving business process reorganization, new product launch strategy, viral growth modelling, delisting, and business case modelling. Carried out competitive valuation among mobile phone companies and was involved in financial due diligence.

Played the Investor Relation roles as liaison with fund managers, analysts and investors. Also involved in financial modelling and valuation analysis for the privatization exercise of the Group, power plant projects and cinema projects.

Involved in Corporate Governance projects, including development of best practices toolkits for the Board of Directors in the areas of Internal Audit, External Audit, Enterprise Risk Management and Internal Control. Was also involved in the full chain of Internal Audit, from development of Internal Audit plan, Internal Audit review and reporting on findings and recommendations. Participated in the Finance Improvement Assessment exercise of a major telecommunication company in India. Also involved in the development of policies & procedures exercise for the Malaysia National Development Agency.

Carried out investment valuation on pre-IPO and listed companies . Was also involved in the preparation of reports and presentation slides for potential investors for fund-raising and IPO purposes.

Was responsible for the tracking of, analysis and reporting on the economies of Malaysia and Singapore. Also carried out ac hoc researches and reporting on the automotive industry of Thailand, development planning, and the 9th Malaysia Plan.
