Work at Milk Café, run by The Tincat CIC, a social enterprise based on Govanhill that supports refugee and migrant women.As part of the team, my tasks were assessing the volunteers to develop their professional skills related to running a coffee shop (food preparation, customer service, health and hygiene, stock control and hospitality), adapting to their needs of personal development and supporting them in migration-related issues. I helped as well in the organization of workshops and events, some of them in collaboration with other organisations from Glasgow.
