• Responsible for Fiber Optics & 19” rack chassis/system design of key customers such as Foxconn Optical Interconnect Technology (FOIT) and Vectrawave.• Thermal analysis in product with SolidWorks Flow Simulation software. • Thermal design management with heat sink, skived fins, zipper fins, heat pipe and forced-air solution.• Generate detailed designs and drawings, concept and new product mechanisms in both 2D and 3D to meet specific customer requirement.• Design tooling and fixtures for testing and production usage.• Prepare Mechanical Bill of Material (BOM) lists, Assembly Drawings, Engineering Change Notice (ECN), Work Instruction (WI), Inspection Criteria (IC) and Packaging Instruction with specific guideline to Production and System team.• Sourcing and giving technical advice to purchasing team for specific mechanical parts and components.• Liaise with suppliers to manage cost reduction and technical mechanical issues.• Well understand the knowledge of manufacturing process and Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA). • Project management skills and hand on skills such as drilling, milling and screw thread tapping/repair.

• Responsible for mechanical related issued of ODM / OEM product.• Re-design and cost reduction of mechanical part to meet customer’s requirement.• Dealing with suppliers for all the fabrication mechanical parts.• Designing of jig and fixture for internal or external usage.• Generate detailed designs and drawings in both 2D and 3D. • Support production to troubleshoot design issue on existing product.
