Private Equity Experience: Village Realty purchased in April 2017 by Tregaron Capital sold to LightBay Capital in April 2021 -Village Realty Holdings is a full-service vacation property management company operating as Village Realty from Corolla to South Nags Head. During my direct time as VP Operations we grew the property count from 512 to over 750 managed properties, Ocracoke Island Realty on Ocracoke Island with over 275 properties and Carolina Beach Realty with over 135 properties. VRH also managed over 50 community associations Corolla to Ocracoke Island and along with creating a Hotel/Motel/BB Management division with 6 boutique hotel properties under management.Also onboarded and expanded the operations of multiple acquisitions. Software, leadership transition and implementation experience with vacation rental management companies in North Carolina, Florida, Colorado and Tennessee.

As Director of Hotel Management, I directly oversaw The Historic First Colony Inn located in Nags Head North Carolina, The Castle B&B and Courtyard Villas both located on Ocracoke Island North Carolina. During this time I grew our managed inventory 160% by adding a boutique Bed and Breakfast and The Anchorage Inn on Ocracoke Island. Along with the fully renovated Tar Heel Motel in Nags Head and the fully renovated See Sea Motel in Kill Devil Hills. The main driver during this time involved working toward company-wide continuity, directional goals, marketing, HomeAway platform software upgrades, and day-to-day processes. Also Increasing the book-ability on third-party marketing channels. Along the way I was also able to grow First Colony Inn Gross Lodging Revenue by 42%.

As Vice President of Operations I am directly responsible for all Customer Service activities including departmental over sight of Housekeeping, Laundry/Warehouse, Maintenance, Fleet Management, Carpet Cleaning, Pools and Spas. Intense focus on budgetary responsibilities, purchasing, accounting, company vision and strategic planning. Daily involvement with property owner communication, statements, accounting, work order details and problem solving. Develop then implement processes, controls and training guidelines for all departments. Up to date with insurance policies and procedures. Review Navis Analytics Executive summary, competitor tracking reports, LSI tools, Property Plus Software and general industry data. All with a continued focus on constant improvement in the efficiencies of the overall company operation.Outer Banks Blue Realty Services manages over 265 properties covering 40 miles of beautiful Outer Banks Beach. Each property is exceptionally cleaned and maintained as we provide complimentary Deep Cleans to start the season, linens and towels for each guest, easy secure access via Kaba keyless entry, electronic reservation system, 24 hour guest service support, early arrival options, event properties, property management and a step up option to Blue Ribbon Services for our top performing properties. As Vice President of Operations there is a great deal of budgetary responsibility and I directly manage all Housekeeping, Inspections, Maintenance, Pool/Spa, carpet cleaning, property services, property plus work orders and Human Resource activities along with the delivery of in the field Customer Service Excellence to all rental guests and property owners.

As Operations Manager I was directly responsible for all Housekeeping activities including creating and implimenting budget, human resources, scheduling, training, inspections, laundry processing, linen purchase, cleaning supply purchase, owner relations, vendor relations and overall property presentation. Also directly handled all after hours calls 2008, 2009 along with solely running the entire housekeeping operation of 200+ properties over 40 miles for two straight years in 2007 and 2008 before aquiring seasonal office assistance.

Began in 2004 with a rotational internship through each department with over 125 full time employees company wide, then hired full time to manage 30+ seasonal J1 and H2B visa international workers while gaining more general Housekeeping Supervisor responsible training activities, Deep Clean scheduling, bedspread washing coordination and payroll management in Corolla, NC.

One semester internship in downtown Philadelphia location where I was the first intern to open the door to a successful partnership and intern program with Oakwood and Temple STHM.
