I am currently conceptualising a new organisation to build the power of the UK Animal Freedom movement to win transformative legislative and cultural change through: building a network of local groups that can win local and national campaigns; and cultivating the capacity and unity of the UK movement ecosystem to win strategic movement-wide campaigns.I am a Co-Founder and former Director of Animal Think Tank, an organisation researching the foundations of a social movement for Animal Freedom in the UK, where I served for six years. I am co-editor of the book ‘Rethinking Food and Agriculture: New Ways Forward’ which envisions a truly just and sustainable food system. I am co-founder of the Veterinary Vegan Network and Ethical Globe.I have been involved in social change for most of my career having previously worked in the international development sector for 15 years. I have a PhD in Development Economics (SOAS) and an MSc in Development Management (LSE).

The business case identified key ‘research in development’ opportunities for the pro-poor development of the farmed tilapia value chain. An assessment of the Center’s activities to develop an improved tilapia strain and its impact on the aquaculture sector was also included. -
