Laila Ho is a multidisciplinary artist who focuses on exploring the interplay between humanity and animality in the 21st century. She creates works for and inspired by cats and observe the animality present in various living creatures, both human and non-human. As a printmaker, she dedicates her practice to transforming non-verbal and intangible thoughts into images, aiming to change the narratives surrounding animals in today's human-centric environment.

- Founded a collective formed by 20+ Hong Kong art students based in London- Coordinated over 15 meet-ups and art critiques to foster each other’s artistic practice- Oversaw and participated in writing 2 proposals, respectively for grant and venue hire- Secured a Project Grant of £2000 from Hong Kong Arts Development Council to fund the collective’s group exhibition in 2019- Supervised catalogue, design and writing teams to ensure timely completion

- Researched at least 6 upcoming exhibitions and events- Interacted with 200 customers and facilitated online bidding system for benefit auction - Managed approximately 10 administrative tasks such as emailing and data input- Coordinated with at least 20 artists, galleries and artwork couriers- Translated 12 English to Chinese transcripts for catalogue and archival materials

- Monitored over 10 exhibitions with hourly humidity and temperature check- Educated almost 400 visitors on displays, providing detailed information and insights- Regularly restocked brochures and other printed materials to maintain an organised space- Efficiently processed over 60 transactions as the cashier- Facilitated at least 2 special events per month, including artist sharing and family workshops

- Designed over 80 after school lessons targeting elementary school students- Regularly providing feedbacks and brainstorm solutions on each children’s performances - Successfully curated 3 end of year shows to friends and family- Maintained close relationship and developed trust with over 10 participants
