I started my career in NYC as a private international banker for Banco de Credito del Peru. From there I moved to the domestic side of banking outside of Philadelphia and joined the credit department of Meridian Bank where I became a dealer finance lender. After Philly I moved to Chicago where I managed Dr. Michael Shaffer's office (Plastic Surgery Attending) at Rush University Medical Center for 2 years. Now I reside in Elkhart, IN and have developed and managed The Centre, P.C. in Mishawaka, IN for 28 years. It is a comprehensive plastic surgery practice with a licensed/Medicare deemed ASC, full medical spa along with 2 board certified plastic surgeons and a specialty nurse practitioner. Healthcare has become my life! It is also exciting to be living it under the Golden Dome of the University of Notre Dame. Go Irish!!!!

  Lain is the Executive Director of The Centre, P.C., where she has managed the expert staff for over twenty years. With an AAAHC – Certified and State licensed operating room- The Centre LLC, The Centre for Working Hands rehabilitation center, and Centre Yourself Medical Rejuvenation Spa all part of The Centre, P.C. practice, Lain has made it her mission to provide comprehensive health care options for patients of all kinds underneath one roof. Her positive outlook is an inspiration to her staff. She is very active in the community, she served as the President of The Samaritan Center, a local not-for profit mental health and pastoral counseling agency, and currently serving as an Elder at the First Presbyterian Church in Elkhart, Indiana.Prior to her 25 years of experience in plastic surgery administration in the area, Lain began her career as an international private banker in New York City, and then as a dealer of finance lender outside Philadelphia. Lain grew up in Waverly, New York and graduated with a B.A. from Arcadia University in Glenside, Pennsylvania. She also received a Certificate in Executive Management in 1996 from Notre Dame University.In 2001, Lain served as the national president for the Plastic Surgery Administrative Association and has served on the board of the Economic Development Corporation for Elkhart County as well as a director on the board of the former Elkhart Community Bank. In 2008 Lain served as the Chairman of the Greater Elkhart Chamber of Commerce. Lain is currently serving on the advisory board for Medova Health Care.Under two physicians, Lain has managed this bustling practice graciously; but when not at work Lain enjoys spending time with her family and friends, boating, and being active in church and community activities.
