I supervise a team of desktop and network administrators and librarians overseeing all aspects of technology services to public libraries.I administer a large departmental budget, which includes hardware replacement, software licensing, and special projects.I work closely with fellow managers and senior administration to communicate departmental work and achieve organizational goals.Major projects include:- Website Redesign: a complete region-wide website needs assessment, vendor selection and redesign, which was completed in under seven months. Customer feedback on the CMS and look-and-feel has been very positive.- Library CMS & Ticketing System: sourced and implemented a ticketing management system for use across four departments, improving the entire organization’s response time to customer tickets. Collaborated with staff to develop methods within the software to track statistics for different departments based on organizational goals and reporting requirements

My role focused on building relationships with member libraries in order to discover their learning and development needs. I developed and delivered everything from focused one-on-one training sessions to large scale PD events about all areas of librarianship, including ILS training, management, human resources, plan of service development, collection assessment, and diversity and inclusion.
