My role is divided between both Service Quality Manager & Service Delivery Manager. The quality manager side is to oversee and manage the customer interaction quality process for Account Services - Manchester & London, using a quality dashboard which I have created and implemented, covering the quality model which I designed based on the needs of the business. Effective quality monitoring is used to identify and pinpoint the capability of the Account Specialist to provide the high standard of customer experience that Pearson strives for. This is a role which is very closely linked with the Training team to ensure we are doing our utmost to support our staff here at Pearson, delivering training to the highest of standards. The service delivery side is to manage and over see a variety of projects put to us in the form of an idea which we put through proposal, to investigation to the running of the project, seeing it through to fruition, finalising the project with measurable outcomes. This part of my role has also seen an additional responsibility of managing business continuity plans (BCP) for the Manchester customer services department. This part of my role began 10 days prior to us making the decision to begin planning and test over 100 staff working from home due to COVID-19.
