Aspen Event Solutions is the top event organization in the roaring fork valley. When I found out about them, it was no surprise that I wanted to join their seasonal team as soon as I possibly could. I was able to take my floral assistant experience, and blend it nicely to working in event operations- as I perform similar duties in these worlds. This work requires a high level of focus, anticipating problems and needs before they occur, and taking the necessary initiative to make a dream a reality- all things I am successfully trained on.I am super passionate about expanding myself in event planning, and operations. All of my qualifications have lead me here to my dream, and I am super excited to see what the future has in store for me, and the impact I am able to make on my community and the world moving forward.

I worked as a freelance assistant to Carolyn, at Carolyns Flowers, which is a small business operation exclusively for the Roaring Fork Valley. As I have a passion for sales, design, and operations, this job was right up my alley. I learned so much about business operations and what it takes to be successful at a hands-on start up. As a small team, we sell and provide exceptional floral and stage design for any event. Weddings are obviously huge for us during peak months here in Aspen- a massive destination hub! I am used to taking on many projects at once and executing them to the highest standard, as many events do fall on the same day. This requires me to be highly organized, timely, and mission oriented, which I love.

I worked as a fashion stylist and operations associate at Free People, located in Aspen CO. Year after year I am proud to say I was the top seller amongst my colleagues! I was effortlessly able to achieve this with my relatable, down to earth, vibrant personality. Even though its atypical to say, I believe sales is very much equated to wild animals hunting in the savannah. You need to fully understand each individual customer and be able to anticipate their wants and needs, even before they may fully know themselves. Everybody wants to work with, and inevitably purchase, from people they like and trust. As I am super kind, and see every day as a chance to make a friend, even if its for a moment, I've realized sales is my second nature. I have worked as a fine dining hostess, waitress, and eventual bartender over my six years at the Maroon Creek Club, which is a private, platinum country club of America. I am pleased to say I have all of this incredible fine dining experience working under a high demanding business, who serves the top percent of the globe world wide. This job opportunity was the catalyst to my growth as a young professional, as I was responsible for creating the uppermost experience possible for the affiliated members. I am forever grateful for the outstanding experience and success the club has opened up for me moving forward in my journey.I am educated working behind the bar, serving alcoholic beverages, and TIP's trained.
