The Westminster Chief of Police's Community Advisory Panel was formed in the aftermath of 2020 events, such as George Floyd’s death, as a preventative measure for our own city. It is a panel of diverse community members who meet bimonthly to discuss relevant topics related to the police department and how the department can strengthen their relationship with the community. Members consist of large and small business owners, professors, religious leaders, a representative from the LGBTQIA+ community, and more. Many meetings consist of a department representative presenting about their position and impact. Holding a seat on this panel has taught me that my opinions and ideas are valued and deserve to be heard, especially when I am the only woman in the room. My world view has expanded ten fold over the past four years and I continue to gain a new perspective each meeting.

Now, with my updated Assistant Lead position I also create schedules for all of our temporary employees.

Selective enrichment program for high-achieving students where the students work closely with the Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs at Leeds. The students in this program are placed in a cohort together for their first semester and have two additional classes together in subsequent semesters. Students in Dean's Fellows create a network and friendships that will last their entire lives. Joining this program has allowed me to become involved in another community within leads where I have the honor to personally know and work with the Associate Dean. Her assistance and advice is something I cherish and am lucky to have access to during both my college and professional careers.

Women in Business Club is a strong network of aspiring business professionals that encourages and empowers women to experience success in their future business endeavors. The club is a resource for business students who want access to professional insight and opportunities while being part of a reliable, comfortable community that values women representation across all fields of business. The club invites professional business women to speak at biweekly meetings who offer guidance, advice, real world experience, and more, allowing members to add to their professional toolset in a fun and engaging setting. Each meeting is unique in terms of who the speaker is and the topic they are presenting on, so members can expect to learn something new every time. There are also recruiting events, office visits, philanthropy events, workshops, and club outings for members to attend.
