I am passionate about People and Workplace Culture, what makes people tick, what motivates them to come to work every day and strive to be the best they can be. I am happy when I see organisational performance improve by default as a direct result of the correct implementation and use of best practice attraction, engagement and retention strategies. With a B.A. majoring in Psychology and a Graduate Diploma in Business (HRM) under my belt, plus over a decade of experience in Human Resources generalist roles spanning the Private/Corporate, Non-Profit and Government sectors in multiple industries, I have a developed a comprehensive toolkit of skills which has seen me manage all people related aspects of the employment lifecycle in collaboration with other People and Culture specialist areas. Two of my key strengths: -client-focused and agile and with a proven ability to manage competing priorities -demonstrated ability to build strong and productive relationships with key stakeholders I have honed my skills in the employee engagement space in particular by having helped plan, coordinate and facilitate more than 30 Engagement Survey focus groups across 4 states with 100 leaders. I have developed and delivered training around the importance of engagement and participated in the roll-out of engagement initiatives. I also have experience in training and development and have designed and facilitated Corporate Welcome days as well as training on many HR related topics including Career Management, Performance Management, Employee Relations and Bullying and Harassment.
