I'm a senior software engineer who is currently working two positions at TMC Technologies. On one hand, I've worked on contract with the Department of Justice for about 10 years as a senior software engineer providing development, database, and operations services for a large financial billing and data warehousing application. On the other, I lead TMC's Department of Justice contracts providing program management services to multiple efforts.Through my career I have gravitated to smaller companies and the opportunities that they provide. I've been lucky enough to have touched almost every major role in tech. I've worked as a documentation specialist, a systems analyst, a systems administrator, a configuration manager, a DBA, a developer, a requirements lead, a quality assurance lead, and a program manager over the last twenty years. I've been given opportunities to develop a companies implementation of CMMI on a prime contract which eventually earned a level 3 accreditation, plan and implement a disaster recovery site for all corporate project artifacts, and create corporate tools from scratch. I've even done some carpentry, but we won't dwell on that.I'm a firm believer in software engineering processes and respect the balance between too much and too little that must be struck for each project. The one message I have on my wall at work is, "Keep Calm and Pray for Software Engineering".I hold a MS in Software Engineering, a BA in Criminology, and a BA in English Literature, all from West Virginia University.
Listed skills include Software Engineering, Requirements Analysis, Software Documentation, Integration, and 25 others.
