Our team of seven graduate students in Amsterdam will be competing in iGEM 2020, an international biotech competition born out of MIT. We're building an algorithm to help make biotech systems scalable and sustainable, so that we can move towards producing things, like clean fuel, through microbes! 🦠Anyone who knows me through academia knows I am OBSESSED with the human microbiome. My branch of the project will specifically be working with lactic acid bacteria, which means my research will be useful in biotech AND medicine!
