I am by nature, as I like to describe, a teacher. By that I mean, I wouldn't be able to do anything else other than interacting with students, and helping them to develop their potentials. I believe social change happens through education and that my job is the most important path for that. As an academic, I own a Master's degree from the Postgraduate Program in Letras: Culture, Education and Language, from the State University of Southwest of Bahia, where I studied the relationship between Identity(s) and personal writing in English. In 2018, I participated in the English Teacher Development Program promoted by Fulbright and Capes through which he received training in Methodology Development at the University of Miami in Miami, FL, USA. Additionally, I am a specialist in Clinical and Institutional Psychopedagogy and I have been dedicating more than 15 years to teaching English to a diverse group with different learning needs. At all, I have helped about 3.000 students to learn and use the English Language. Currently, I work as Executive Director and English Language Specialist at LAÍS LOBO & Co. In the corporate world, I have experience in Teacher Training, One-to-One Teaching, Teaching Business English, Online Teaching. I performed employee English training at RHI MAGNESITA in 2017 and IMI FABI TALCO in 2018, both in Brumado. As an additional and key aspect of my life, I am also an animal lover. My life is dedicated to them as a side occupation. At this moment I am developing my non-profit organization targeted at helping stray or neglected animals. It is making me so full of energy and has raised my love for life back again.
