As a back end engineer and architect, I conceptualized and create custom solutions based on business needs including building and maintaining APIs, third-party integrations between web services, back end system development, utilizing various AWS and other cloud-based services, while working working with conventional and non-conventional databases.Furthermore, I advised on software best practices in regard to business needs and development.

Working with strategists, analysts, and other stakeholders, I helped create and administer A/B tests based on client needs for their eCommerce sites. Clients included Danner Footwear, Laird Superfood, Fully, and many others.

Along with my team, I architected and developed Nombolo's flagship mobile application to provide geo-specific, user-requested media.

I developed and supported e-commerce content features for https://www.keenfootwear.com and their sister site https://www.chromeindustries.com as part of a larger development team utilizing HTML, CSS, Demandware, and JavaScript on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud. My duties encompassed a large range from reoccurring weekly tasks -- such a building and implementing content to production -- to specialized projects like combing through the site and correcting errors and issues to make it ADA compliant. And of course, I was no stranger to the occasional back end bug fix which had me working deep within our code base. While at KEEN I was part of the team that saw the implementation of their global sites on the new SFCC platform, as well as maintaining their legacy sites during the transition.
