Disabled Living is a charity which provides impartial information and advice about equipment (assistive technology) and services for disabled adults, children, older people and the professionals who support them . Located in Worsley in a purpose built centre and working in partnership with Salford Community Equipment Services and other Local Authorities, Disabled Living offer a wide range of services to support independent living, make life easier and improve quality of life. With a team of health and social care professionals, together with knowledgeable information officers, Disabled Living can offer solutions to what may seem unmanagable problems. www.disabledliving.co.uk One of my main roles is to organise the Kidz Exhibitions - Five of the largest, FREE UK exhibitions totally dedicated to children with disabilities and special needs, their parents, carers and professionals who work with them. Over 100 exhibitors offering information on mobility, funding, seating, beds, communication, access, education, toys, transport, style, sensory, sports, leisure and much more.
