As the Executive Managing Director of Study Abroad 4711 and the Director of the Office of Study Away at Virginia Union University, I have over 24 years of experience in international education and travel. I am passionate about providing affordable and immersive study abroad opportunities for all students, especially those from underrepresented backgrounds.I founded Study Abroad 4711 in 1999, after studying in Tokyo, Japan, and since then, I have helped thousands of learners discover new and inspiring destinations around the world. I also partner with Virginia Union University, a historically black university, to serve as their School of Record and to power their Office of Study Away. I excel at customer relationship management, process improvement, and new business development, and I am always seeking to expand my network and collaborate with other educators and organizations in the field. My mission is to infuse intercultural competence and global awareness in the next generation of leaders and professionals.
