A national program of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Portland State University School of Social Work, and the Institute for the Future focused on giving health-related social workers the skills they need to co-create a healthier and more equitable future using futures thinking and foresight practice.

 Played a key role in re-branding the organization, which resulted in over 10,000 new members in three years, as well as an increase in social media follows and activity. Piloted the design and launch of an international mentoring program, policy fellows program, lunch and learns, focus groups, and Monday Morning Manager blog series. Reports to the NSWM Board of Directors and collaborates on the structuring and execution of the organization’s business and strategic plan. Prepares an annual operating plan and takes responsibility for the organization’s fiscal management and fund raising. Assists in board member recruitment and retention, which includes securing financial resources necessary to sustain the organization. Coordinates and oversees board participation of organization committees, meetings, and retreats Ensures compliance with the IRS and all other regulatory boards and contractual arrangements Actively engages and plans the Network’s annual conference, which includes but is not limited to: securing a venue, co- chairs, invited speakers, release of call for proposals and acceptance of submissions, marketing, event planning, fundraising, and handling of logistics. Develops relationships to increase awareness of the organization’s mission/vision and its constituents’ needs. Plans, represents and networks on behalf of NSWM at local, regional, and national events. Attracts and retain Network members, as well as maintain Network visibility through social media and other social work human services channels. Responsible for the oversight and recruitment of Network chapters internationally. Oversees day to day functions of the organization, which includes website updates and email campaigns. Manages a staff of one Administrative Coordinator based in Los Angeles, CA.

 Developed and implemented strategic plan for the MSW@USC National Partnership Program. Includes outreach, marketing initiatives, virtual and live meeting presentations, event coordination, contract negotiation and compliance, budget management.  Established partnerships with 11 social service organizations since December 2012 to identify field placements nationwide and offer student scholarships.  Partnered organizations include: Casey Family Programs, DaVita Dialysis, Health Leads, Hope for the Warriors, LIFT Communities, Prevent Child Abuse America, Providence Service Corporation, Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care, Telecare Corporation, Volunteers of America, Youth Villages. Oversaw placements for more than 90 students at National Partnership agencies. Represented and networked on behalf of USC at regional and national conferences.  Served as panelist at NASW Ohio Conference 2012, "Is an online MSW program right for me?" Managed the marketing efforts for agency development which includes conference and event planning, webinars, and a national newsletter. Successfully launched agency webinar information sessions to help agency staff and field instructors learn more about the program’s expectations and guidelines for field education. Managed recruitment for more than 100 community based organizations annually as field placement sites for the University Of Southern California School Of Social Work’s web-based MSW program.  Supervised a staff of seven coordinators responsible for the placement of MSW students’ field practicum in the Northeast and Midwest regions of the U.S. Communicated directly with USC faculty to ensure students receive quality internships, an optimal match, and on-time placements.  Qualified and confirmed potential field internships and field instructors. Oversaw student support and advisement of more than 200 students.
