District Laboratory for Oil Well Cementing and StimulationQuality Assurance and Quality Control: Tested cement and stimulation fluids per standard procedures, and developed procedures as needed. Depending upon test results, additive concentrations were adjusted to ensure fluids met design requirements and North Dakota State requirements. Water analyses were performed on source waters for each individual job, to confirm functionality and/or compatibility.Time Management: Laboratory was staffed and working 24-hours, every day, all year. Assets were limited, and jobs could move up in priority at any time. In addition, emergency jobs and respective testing could be added to the workload.
