Welcome to my LinkedIn profile! I'm a highly motivated and adaptable mechanical engineering student with a passion for innovation and problem-solving. I'm set to graduate from the University of Alberta in 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, and my academic journey has been marked by excellence, with a cumulative GPA of 3.7/4.0.During my co-op term at EPCOR, I had the privilege of contributing to the development and execution of water treatment plant projects, showcasing my project management skills and in-depth understanding of process and control systems. This experience allowed me to manage the entire project life cycle, coordinate with various stakeholders, and ensure quality control, all of which have been crucial in honing my project management abilities.In my previous role at PCL Construction, I further developed my project management skills, coordinating with subtrade partners, updating drawings and specifications, and managing various documents for quality control. My work in quantity take-offs, estimating, and quality inspections allowed me to gain a comprehensive understanding of project execution.One of the highlights of my project experience is my role as the Mechanical Director for Albertaloop, where I led a diverse team in pioneering and building the #1 pod at the Canadian Hyperloop Conference 2023, earning three awards. In addition to my academic and project achievements, I've volunteered my time as a teaching assistant, event coordinator, and instructor, demonstrating my dedication to giving back to the community.My technical strengths include proficiency in SolidWorks, STAR-CCM+, and various software tools, along with a wide range of technical skills, from composite manufacturing to 3D printing. I'm also multilingual, with proficiency in English, Creole, and intermediate French.Outside of my professional life, I'm an avid hobbyist watch collector, photographer, hiker, and music enthusiast. I actively engage in sports like futsal, soccer, skiing, and rock climbing. I also hold a clean driver's abstract and am willing to relocate internationally.I'm excited about the opportunities that lie ahead and look forward to connecting with like-minded professionals, industry experts, and potential employers in the field of mechanical engineering.
