I conducted research on Microstrip Patch Antennas for detecting breast cancer. In this study, I designed both rectangular and circular Microstrip Antennas, specifically tuned for Microwave Imaging within the ISM band and Ultra-wide band. I utilized established Electromagnetic (EM) simulation tools like HFSS, CST, and ADS for this purpose.This research gave me valuable hands-on experience in assessing antenna properties, including impedance characteristics (such as Reflection coefficient and VSWR), using a Vector Network Analyzer (VNA). Furthermore, the results of this research were published in a reputable scientific journal, Progress In Electromagnetics Research B, Volume 98, pages 87–105, in the year 2023.The published paper titled "A Miniaturized Antenna for Breast Cancer Detection at the 5.72–5.82 GHz ISM Band Based on the DGS Technique" highlights my expertise in CST Microwave Studio, HFSS, Antenna Design, Antenna Measurements, and Antenna Performance Analysis.
