Profile bio

About Daniel Lalain, Arp-E, Cmrp

I am looking for a Director or Executive Leadership position where my full value can be realized to increase the Customer experience, profitability and safety of an organization.I like to make tangible improvements to physical assets and maintenance plans to deliver the best availability, performance and quality. I adjust behaviors of teams to improve the workflows and processes and to re-engage them to work more collaboratively. I am very experienced in databases, querying, analyzing ERP and CMMS data. I am also very skilled in automation programming and systems integration. I've seen too many companies suffer poor reliability because of 1) non-optimal motor drive programming/settings/commissioning 2) control loops that weren't programmed correctly and cannot be tuned optimally 3) missing interlocks based on the physical process that could have avoided product quality issues and/or damage to the equipment.I enjoy taking opportunities to offer solutions. Many decisions in maintenance today are based more on plant/corporate politics and I understand that very well. But larger wins can come from the often unappreciated and misunderstood sciences; psychology, mathematics, physics, chemistry and programming.

Listed skills include Engineering, Plc, Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering, and 25 others.
