I carried out several functions:First, I was in charge of setting up and running a corporate structure (including procedures and documentation) for management of Research and Development activities. The tasks included generating and collecting ideas and identifying opportunities for their implementation by means of actual development projects. This requires assessing and ensuring technological and financial feasibility, establishing suitable research consortia and applying for financial help from several programs and institutions of Public Administration.I was also a Project Manager in charge of several software development projects, including the coordination of a team of 10 people (software designers, developers, architects and DevOps engineers) working at 5 different offices in two countries: Mexico and Spain. The team builds and operates a cloud-based web system that helps players in the logistics sector (vendors, suppliers, carriers, customers) to organize, control and audit the delivery of goods.Finally, my duties also include when necessary the liaison with customers and leads for analysis and design of new technical solutions, along with writing proposals as a Presales Engineer.
