I am a Business English Consultant providing customized solutions to working professionals' communication problems. I have worked in this capacity in various software companies in India. The programs I conduct have made a remarkable difference and helped the workforce to interact effectively, especially in a virtual workplace. I have also created a course to train rural students in Business Communication skills. This has helped a number of them get jobs in various sectors.I am based in Bangalore, India. Attendee and scholarship winner at the IATEFL( International association of teachers of English as a foreign language) Conference in Birmingham in April 2016 • Panelist at the launch of ´My English” program by the British Council at Bangalore, India in January 2016• key note speaker at TILT- Technology Integrated Language Teaching Seminar conducted on March 1, 2012 by Abdur Rehman University and Cambridge Language Assessment at Chennai.• Conducted the first ever simulcast of the BESIG (Business English special Interest group -IATEFL)Annual Conference on“ Global Perspectives in Business English Training” on 17 November 2012 at Chennai.• Conducted a workshop on Culture and Communication to the students of IIT, Madras• Have presented at many international conferences in this subjectI have also been the Convener, Business English Sig, ELTAI from July 2017 till January 2021.I am the co-founder of BCFAI, the Business Communication facilitators Association of India, which I, along with Dolon Gupta, launched in January 2021.During June/ December 2020, I wrote a novel whose protagonist is a 65-year-old Lakshmi.
