Led the electrical infrastructure design team at the head office in Dubai. Major infrastructure work included design of power supply master plans, substations, MV & LV power distribution networks, pumping stations, LV distribution and obtaining all related NOC's from the Electricity and the other authorities.

Expo2020 - Dubai (On-Site)

Responsible for the design of HV & LV Infrastructure at Dubai Expo2020 project. Total power requirement of the project was 425MW. 3 primary substations (132/11kV) and 196 distribution substations (11/0.4kV) were built and commissioned. 240km of 11kV cable laid. Coordinated power requirement of over 190 participant country pavilions into the power supply master plan infrastructure design.Over 25 millions visits have been recorded during 6 months of the exhibition duration. Expo2020 was the key project in UAE in this decade and it's legacy continues as Expo City where I am assisting to restructure power infrastructure to suit with the future development.

Responsible for the construction management and site supervision of MV, LV and building and terminal electrical related systems at State Geust VVIP Reception Terminal at the new airport in Abu Dhabi.This airport terminal was completed in just 10 months to hold Gulf Corporation Council summit in Dec 2010. This only can happen when you build team spirit and genuinely assist them to move faster.Considering terminal is for VVIP use, the quality of everything installed was required to the highest specification and completing the MEP, Civil and Architectural work in time was excellent team work.

Project: International City Phases 2 & 3, Client: NakheelResponsible for the following major tasks:• Liaison with main developer Nakheel and third party developers for developing necessary infrastructure for around 1300 Low-Mid-High Rise buildings.• Review of building MEP design proposals submitted by third party developers for the compliance of the project development codes.Have worked also in the District Cooling Plant - 3 project (plant capacity - 50000 Ton of Refrigeration & large District Cooling Network of 1100 mm dia) at Dubai Burj Khalifa project, World Tallest Tower (Client - Emaar).

Projects completed: Chelsea Tower– 50 Storeys Hotel Apartment Tower + 9 Storeys Car Park Building, Total Connected Electrical Load -10MW, Built Up Area - 68,000m2, Budget - 5.43million US $ (Electrical Part).Millennium Tower– 60 Storeys Hotel Apartment Tower + 10 Storey Car Park Building. Total Connected Electrical Load -13MW, Built Up Area - 98,000m2, Budget - 6.79 US $ (Electrical Part).The company had recorded highest profit margin from these Tower projects as a result of advance planning to complete MEP work on each floor within 3 to 5 days and implementing a bonus scheme for the operatives based on time saving.

Colombo Port, Sri Lanka

Project: South Asia Gateway Terminal Port (SAGT) at Colombo Port, Client: P&O PortsResponsible for the management & site supervision of MV/LV/ELV Electrical System installations. MV works included installation, testing and commissioning of 11kV Network and 3 nos 11kV/400V Substations. LV works included installation of Cathodic Protection system, high mast lighting towers and other building, terminal and wharf LV/ELV systems. I gained valuable experience in selecting and installation of robust material and equipment suited for the severe marine & humid conditions. Project cost - 240 mil US$ including quay cranes and other equipment.

Japan & Sri Lanka

Have involved in designing of electrical systems on various type of buildings including shopping complexes, residential and commercial buildings and hospitals projects. Typical other work included quantity estimating, and preparing BOQ’s. Project: Crescat Residential Development – This project consisted of 19 Storeys residential building, 3 storeys shopping complex and multi storeys car parking buildings (1997-1998).Worked at the Shin Nippon head office in Tokyo from 1998 to 1999.
