I've worked on anion exchange membranes (AEMs) fuel cell since 2015. Among emerging technologies, fuel cells show tremendous potential to be a candidate for the energy of the future. The most popular commercial low-temperature fuel cell technology utilized cation exchange membranes (CEMs) such as Nafion®.These membranes employ precious metals such as platinum (Pt) as a catalyst, substantially increasing the cost. AEMs are another alternative currently being investigated to reduce the cost of fuel cells. Instead of using CEMs with expensive catalysts, AEMs can employ cheaper metals such as nickel or silver and has received much attention from the scientific community recently. My research focus on water transportation, degradation mechanism, ion association and, activation energy of AEMs using IR, SEM, TEM and a variety of NMR technique such as 1H-NMR, 19F-NMR, COSY, HSQC, CIGARAD, PFG-NMR …

In 2013, my VEF Fellows and I developed Vietnam Journal of Science (VJS) (http://www.vjsonline.org/) with the purpose to provide updated information about scientific discoveries and technological advances to Vietnamese people and establish a global platform to enhance collaboration among Vietnamese scientists, entrepreneurs, investors, and the general public. Until now, VJS has received much attention from the general community, famous scientist as well as accredited institution. Our Facebook fan-page reached more than 60k followers and sought to advance to 100,000 shortly.
