I was a peer mentor for a year where I mentored the students. I helped them cope with the college environment by connecting them to the college resources like the center for career development, the counselling department, admission office and so on. I also worked as a research assistant under my professor for 4 months monitoring the structural health of conductive concrete. I was also the vice president of the New York Tribeca Campus Lions Club where I managed my fellow members and assigned them different voluntary positions. In doing so I have grown in a lot of ways both academically and personally. I have grown as a collaborative leader who can work together and effectively with my fellow students and friends. I have excelled in my academic settings and also done pretty well in extra-curricular activities.
