As you may know, there are very few male teachers in most elementary classroom settings, so I serve as a role model to the whom students I work with. It has been a long road to get to this point. But the trip, with all its detours, has been worth the effort. Out of all my teaching experiences, I had the opportunity to teach alongside prodigious head teachers in grades Kindergarten through Third Grade. I’ve learned a lot about teaching reading, writing, math, social studies with rigor, and also how to effectively communicate with parents. I am an extremely high-energy and innovative professional. I believe ALL teachers should have there own educational philosophy. Mr. Devine’s Educational Philosophy: “My personal philosophy on education would be based on guiding my students to a certain point in which they are able to continue to learn through life experiences. I think early childhood is an exciting time in a person’s life that helps shape how they will see the world for the rest of their life. The first years of our lives are when we learn the most, and they also establish how we will learn in our future”. (I will like to take the time to thank GOD and people who names begin with the letters A to Z).
