I contribute to reduce by half the immersion time to come to grips with the new country of destination (savings and ROI) and therefore increasing the probability of success of the overall mission. Thanks to 35 years in 9 countries spent as an expatriate in General Management and CEO, I have observed many companies sending their managers without the necessary "cultural tool box" to enable them to adapt and be effective from day 1; it is quite easy to struggle and to be misunderstood due to the differences in cultures and not acknowledging dealing with different set of values. I have trained and successfully mentored over 70 managers of different nationalities. A first meeting free of charge will be necessary to understand your needs, challenges and expectations. I design a personalised intercultural program to prepare, train and mentor your management prior to the overseas mission. A Cultural Orientations Framework (COF) assessment report can be a useful option. In addition, during and after the mission, I assist and advice your manager or teams, remotely by regular video conferencing and field trips, when and where necessary.
