I am primarily responsible for the financial affairs of 14 trading entities and twoholding companies across Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa, leading teams and communicating with influence to ensure delivery on strategy.A particular highlight of this tenure has been taking the company from its trust heritage to a corporatised entity, providing guidance as a member of the public offering due diligence committee and raising $58 million in equity funding to achieve ASX listing in December 2017.Additional Achievements and Responsibilities• Led and modelled the financial aspects of eight acquisitions, seeing the company grow from AUD$70 million to AUD$600 million in annual turnover. The acquisitions have included Tyres4U Australia and Tyres4U New Zealand; Black Rubber and Black Rubber Sydney; and Top Draw Tyres in South Africa.• Coordinated and oversaw external works for external financial due diligence partners, as well as developed internal financial modelling on acquisitions, working closely with banks to raise debt funding of circa $150 million in total. • Coached and mentored team members to guide and support career growth, aligning individual with organisational objectives.• Negotiated effectively to drive synergies and improve performance across all levels, from Board to operations.• Played a significant role in growing business turnover to circa AUD$600 million and head count to over 900 employees.• Implemented and integrated financial reporting systems to improve efficiencies and lower costs.• Oversaw the integration of multiple businesses, effectively managing change to minimise disruption and enhance offerings overall.

The Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) for Integrated Engineering Asset Management (CIEAM) was established to develop and implement processes and programmes optimising asset management systems and ensuring a globally competitive Australian industry.I was reported directly to the CEO and was primarily responsible for all non-technical liaison and the coordination of participants and programmes.Additional Achievements and Responsibilities• Developed an effective finance and administration system allowing modern technology to be incorporated into an integrated management information system servicing all stakeholders. • Developed strategic and operational policies for CIEAM business, research and finance activities ensuring complementarity with research, education and training objectives.• Planned for the management of an AUD$12.3 million annual budget, monitoring budgets and cash flow and liaising with Research Programme Leaders on finance and staff issues.• Provided advice and assistance to the CEO and Programme Leaders on a full range of operational matters including obtaining professional legal advice.• Worked closely with the CEO on the development and growth of CRC research teams and research outcomes.• Managed the commercialisation of a wide range of technologies and services, CRC Intellectual Property and licensing and the creation of spin-out companies.

CRC Mining is an internationally recognised multimillion-dollar research centre focussed on delivering innovations that enhance the safety and productivity of the global mining industry.I provided full accounting services and support for the financial affairs of CMTE Development Limited, as well as developed policies and procedures for CRC operations, and established CRC Agreements and Research Contract administration.
