Interim position overseeing the delivery of all Track Renewals across London Underground. This role encompasses the activities of the Track Partnership (LU & BB) and my former team, the LU Track Delivery Unit.My key focus during this period has been driving efficiency in response to the wider LU cost challenge whilst maintaining/improving safety, reliability and delivery.

Leading the transformation of a former maintenance team into a project focussed delivery team whilst delivering a significant capital investment programme.During this period, unit costs of deep tube track renewals reduced by 40%. This was delivered through a 2 pronged approach;- driving waste out of the team, and - innovation. Over this period, the team changed 'what they built and how they built it'. This has meant whilst construction costs have reduced, the asset has a significantly reduced whole life cost.
