I am currently a third-year finance and economics student at the University of Queensland who hopes to pursue a career in financial services or consulting once I graduate. Aside from academia, I possess strong leadership qualities via my experience as a sub-execute at the UQ Business Association, a delegate in the APCYP Mayor's Forum, a UQ Commerce Student Committee sub-executive, and a UQ Respect Ambassador. I have also volunteered in the BEL Buddy Program, UQ Union, and Brisbane's Mud Army. I hold a Diploma of Business, Certificate IV in Crime and Justice, and completed the J.P. Morgan Investment Banking Virtual Experience Program. I work at the University of Queensland as a finance assistant in their Medicine Finance Professional Service team. Some of my daily tasks include processing purchase order checks, handling credit card reconciliations, ensuring prompt and accurate reimbursements, completing journal entries, and assisting staff with complex financial queries. I previously worked as a click-and-collect team member at Coles for two years. I commonly led a 25-person team, enhanced customer experiences, gained proficiency in online order systems and Excel, and sharpened my organisational skills through cross-training in the produce department.Several instances stand out as significant demonstrations of how my accomplishments and experiences have been acknowledged, such as the Bond University's Leadership Scholarship ($30,000+), Monash University's Potential Access Scholarship ($10,000+) and Business Extension Program Bursary ($5,000).
