Chapter Chair,Dupage County Libertarians 1/2014 – 8/2019• Organized and led monthly chapter meetings, updating members on local events and hosting speakers.• Coordinated outreach activities, such as marching in parades, hosting tables at local events and festivals. • Interacted directly with elected state representatives to promote policy change. • Was a reoccurring guest representing libertarian philosophy on a nationally syndicated radio. Campaign Manager 4/2015 – 11/2018• Managed the campaigns of eight state-wide campaigns, and numerous non-partisan local campaigns.• Managed a team of twelve+ volunteers across the state, for multiple political candidates, coordinating responsibilities and ensuring deadlines were met.• Drafted press releases and reviewed all platform literature for general accuracy and proper campaign messaging.• Represented candidates with various media outlets throughout Illinois.• Collaborated as a scriptwriter for press releases, speeches, audio and video messaging. • Planned and delivered press conferences in the State Capitol in Springfield, fielding questions and coordinating with media. • Oversaw all survey response efforts, including tracking deadlines and ensuring cohesiveness across all candidate messaging.Field Operations Division Director 6/2014 – 4/2017• Managed the interaction between the state party and the public. • Oversaw a team of six, coordinating daily, weekly, and annual tasks and ensuring project completion. • Prepared and managed the annual budget for board approval. • Handled production and creation of promotional artwork and material, to further the Libertarian brand. • Media liaison for the Illinois 3rd party petitioning process.• Coordinated with the Ballot Access Director on collection, validation, and submission of 45K+ petition signatures for ballot approval to the Illinois State Board of Elections.
