Community Liaison Officer
Current● Communication Liaison: Liaising with and fundraising for charities and organisations on various events, including arranging talks to raise awareness about Cancer Research UK, organising activities for students to shed light on the importance of heart health with the British Heart Foundation's 'Skip a Beat' event; contributing to disaster relief efforts by liaising with parents and students to aid with the Syrian and Turkish earthquakes through donating coats with Ummah Welfare Trust and coordinating with delivery trucks to transport the donations; arranging a bazar and silent auction for the sale of student art pieces and raising over £3,000 to build wells in Africa with Crisis Aid● Event Management: Organising activities with local, regional, and national communities to ensure the full integration of the school's engagement program with its core vision and value systems; coordinating the hire of Academy venues for external events and conducting background checks of external parties for safeguarding purposes● Management and Administration: Developing links with the Saudi community and other groups by inviting guest speakers for graduations and art gallery shows and inviting external schools to participate in MUN competitions; maintaining internal communication with all Academy sections; ensuring parent participation in student-related programs● Social Media Marketing/ PR: Covering social media for events that I organise to help build the Academy's brand; posting photo shoots during school and community events; maintaining active digital presence on different platforms
