Worked on improving the production time of military helmet chainstraps following the DMAIC approach by: • Defining the problem using the SIPOC diagram and the 5W1H method. • Measuring the cycle time and takt time. • Analyzing displacements and VSM chart. • Improving the process by performing line balancing, task assignment and changing the line concept. • Controlling and tracking the success of the updated process.

Through this experience I was able to:• Get to know about and experience different cultures.• Gain social adaptability.• Acquire Stress and time management abilities.• Become able to lead, inspire and build self-esteem.

Worked on improving the performance of a production line (Dassault Falcon PilotFloor) using Lean Manufacturing tools by: • Performing Active Observation and Displacement Analysis. • Measuring Lead Time, Cycle Time and Takt Time. • Drawing VSM charts. • Classifying Kaizens. • Implementing solutions.

• Treated a plane during a transit. • Assisted in daily and weekly checks. • Assisted in inspections of cockpit and cabin control systems. • Got familiarized with maintenance manuals.
