Oversee the operations in the Millroom, ensuring quality product is cut and delivered to the production lines in a timely manner. Involves scheduling, monitoring quality, managing work load, and working with various departments.

Create cut files for our Holzma cutter, Onsrud router, Dimter saw, and Weeke router. Involves CAD work using Alphacam and Woodwop. Conduct Bill of material audits, use of spreadsheets to track time and material efficiencies, communicate with Engineers and Production personnel as needed

- Provide timely and accurate information and summaries of cost analysis and recommendations for management review- Review and conduct analysis of the BOM's for new models and options for review by product directors and management- Conduct on-going audits of existing BOM's- Assist with monthly reporting on BOM values and changes including reason for the changes, quantifying and tracking cost impact of proposed product changes- Complete analysis projecting cost change impact for early review concerning potential product changes, model change, new models, new options and special requests- Assist with documentation of accumulated cost impact from model changes compared to the initial plan estimates.- Conduct quarterly perpetual inventory audits and assist with year end inventory audit.

Did day to day bookkeeping (accounts payable, deposits, bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations). During this time my goal was to establish some much needed processes in the day to day activity. I was working with our CPA as well as others within our company and at our bank to become more efficient and cost effective. It was a task I thoroughly enjoyed, but the company has now closed its doors.

- Created parts, assemblies and drawings using Inventor CAD software.- Worked alongside the Line Engineer, Design Engineers and Group Leaders when developing or modifying drawings for Engineering Change Notices and creation of new models.- Communicated with Line Engineers and Vendors with changes pertinent to them.- Trained and assisted with Bill of Materials.- Improved accuracy of Bill of Materials by running queries and audits on a regular basis.- Did cost analysis for upcoming Engineering Change Notices and Model Change.

- Production Scheduler: Planned daily manufacturing workload, created jobs/cut sheets using Vantage software, monitored parts availability, created reports/queries for various departments using Vantage and AS400, created markers using Accumark software, worked with MIS, Database, Customer Service, Sales, and Manufacturing for planning and problem solving. - Cutting Supervisor: Supervised up to 20 employees, maintained ISO 9001 compliancy, performed daily and weekly maintenance on the GT3250 and S-93 Gerber Cutters, created reports using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel, created patterns and markers using Accumark CAD software.

For the first few months, I worked in the warehouse helping receive shipments and deliver goods to production. The next number of months I was promoted to Cutting Department Supervisor as well a Gerber Operator. Within the first year at Jayco, I moved solely to Gerber Operator and maintenance. - Operated the GT3250 Gerber cutter. - Performed preventive and major maintenance on the Gerber cutters.- Created detailed cutting reports reflecting cutting efficiencies and downtime using Microsoft Excel.- Received the 1997 Employee of the Year Award, and February 1997 Employee of the Month Award out of the 1200+ employees.

This voluntary service job consisted of the following:- Accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, deposits, bank statements.- Helped prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. - Prepared letters and receipts for donors.- Compiled paperwork for Canadian border crossing for the traveling teams.- Helped with various tasks around the office ranging from creating Bible Study course booklets to making Post Office runs.
