Much like an orchestra conductor harnesses each of the performer’s strengths into one melody, I enjoy pulling together the technical intricacies of the Higher Education and Reauthorization Act, the Internal Revenue Code, and the maze of proper college selection with the inner workings of personal finance. My real reward is seeing motivated and focused students pursuing their dreams while parents are able to continue pursuing their financial dreams. My academic background includes a J.D. (law degree); L.L.M. in Tax (master’s degree in Tax Law); and an M.B.A. (business degree). In addition to being an attorney, I am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Registered Investment Advisor. I draw upon this academic knowledge as part of a holistic and integrated financial planning process. For over 16 years, I’ve been helping families find and fund college educations. I BELIEVE THAT: Families deserve college AND retirement. Parents deserve to encourage their college bound student to attend a great-fit college, regardless of its cost, and without bankrupting their retirement. You deserve to understand how wealth really works and how to stop the financial bleeding, plug the holes, and to recapture tens of thousands of dollars every year from financial institutions and the IRS. Most importantly, I am a dad to three great kids who graduated and are launched :)
