SMU Students' Association is the highest office of student leadership in SMU.The Academic & Welfare Department oversees matters regarding the academic and professional development of SMU students. We work closely with many SMU offices to ensure that students' concerns are well-addressed and look after their mental well-being by organising initiatives such as Welfare Drives.

- Collaborated closely with other co-chairs and committee members to strategies and plan SMUSA's inaugural welfare drive 2024: Leaf, Laugh, Love! - Successfully engaged with more than 2,000 SMU Students through targeted outreach initiatives- Responsible for leading the planning and coordination of all aspects of the welfare drive, including marketing, sponsorships, logistics, procurement, scheduling, and more - Cultivated and nurtured partnerships with several internal and external stakeholders crucial to the success of the welfare drive- Oversee the implementation of the welfare drive, ensuring seamless operations and promptly addressing any challenges that arise on the event day

- Worked closely with the organising committee for the conceptualisation, planning, and execution of all programs and activities for the event - Successfully created a lineup of entertainment, workshops, and games, engaging more than 450 SMU students, and fostering a vibrant atmosphere before finals season- Ensuring all logistics are well-coordinated to ensure that all programs and activities scheduled go as plan - Develop a comprehensive and meticulous event schedule and timeline to maximize attendance and participation during the event.- Implementing appropriate measures to ensure the safety and well-being of attendees are well taken care of.

- Assisted in preparing Budget Endorsement Meeting (BEM) for the club's financial planning and goals.- Consistently managed and optimised the club's budget to ensure an efficient allocation for all activities and contribute to the club's financial health.- Streamlined the students' e-claims submission process, ensuring prompt reimbursements for EXCO.- Accurately tracked the earnings and expenditures for each event to ensure all financial data are up to date.- Worked with multiple internal stakeholders to ensure all finance claims and processes are adhered. In partnership with the industry partners, Halogen Foundation Singapore has designed a 1-on-1 mentoring programme to provide Diploma in Business with the support and guidance as the students navigate their career journeys before graduating from Temasek Polytechnic.Programme Highlights:- Selected as part of 12 student applicants (first batch) to participate in this 6-month mentoring programme- Meet once every 3-4 weeks between Halogen-Elements mentor from Shopee and mentee.- Participated in Halogen-Elements Mentoring Launch session via Zoom on 29 Dec 2021.- Participated in Halogen-Elements Mentoring Closing session via Zoom on 30 June 2022.
