Senior Site Reliability Engineer for Human Centered AI group. Contributed on multiple teams in the central SRE organization while also embedding in two teams on the West Coast, functionally reporting to two VPs with similar data centers in Culver City and Palo Alto. Managed physical and cloud infrastructure efforts for both Digital DNA and Deep Learning groups. Automated and supported a physical data center HPC cluster for deep learning workloads. Supported physical and cloud volumetric capture render farms. Automated cloud infrastructure pipelines (AWS and GCP) defined in code with Hashicorp tools (Terraform, Vault, Packer) and CI/CD systems such as Jenkins and Concourse.

Reported to CIO as primary Release Engineer and founding member of the SRE/DevOps team responsible for build and release automation and infrastructure for all EIS services. Worked with Data Science team to automate ML model training and deployment using docker containers and Jenkins pipelines. Created a Git based Azure cloud continuous integration system for interfacing the internal development pipeline with external partners and streamlining outsourced development efforts. Architected and developed DeploymentX, the custom deployment automation framework used for all EIS systems, as well as a lab provisioning automation framework. Created release pipeline for WarpDrive ERP system. Owned weekly code promotion and release to production. Responsible for monitoring and production support of all ERP, launch process, and business services.

Principal Release Engineer for MVSS (Motor Vehicle Systems and Services). Chartered and Managed the DevOps Team (consisting of Release Engineer, Build Engineer, Release Manager, TFS/Tools Admin, and Cross Platform Build Engineer) for support of ALM activities. Provided technical direction and team leadership for DevOps Team. Responsible for Build and Release activity across multiple business lines developing on multiple platforms,using multiple source repositories such as TFS, SVN, CVS, and GIT. I Designed a system using build automation within each platform producing versioned releases by way of continuous integration servers (Jenkins, Cruise Control, TFS, Team City), to be archived in an artifact repository and consumed by the DevOps common Deployment Automation Framework (using uDeploy) for deployment to various test and production environments.

Responsible for Build, Deployment, and Release planning and implementation. Separated lodging code into a new Perforce codeline for featureset branching and integration. Automated project branching, Perforce client creation, and project creation.Defined and documented process.

Starting in 1999 when I got my NT 4 MCSE I worked various roles consulting for tech companies in the Puget Sound area. Spanned across Development and Operations silos. Worked for companies like Microsoft, Safeco, and Travelport. Focused mostly on MS Server technology and Web Application release and support. Eventually, I received the MCSE in Windows 2000, MCAD C#, and MCDBA SQL 2000

Wing laydown mechanic on 474 wide-body aircraft manufactured at the Everett WA plant. Worked swing shift when 47 line was moved from 5-day to 4-day cycle. Eventually became a rework mechanic after going to machinist school, which entailed following special repairs down the line to assure completion before final assembly. Created jigs and streamlined processes for all of wing laydown, upper and lower panel, and SOB. Studied lean manufacturing and mechanical engineering in my free time. Eventually I started having medical issues caused by chemical exposure, which led me to seek work in another field.
