Lan Phan is a senior double-majoring in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics and Finance at the University of South Florida. Lan is also a student at the Judy Genshaft Honors College. Besides his passion for becoming a commercial airline pilot, Lan is eager to challenge himself in the financial industry. At the beginning of his freshman year, Lan joined the Investment Club at USF as a Marketing Analyst of the Executive Officer Division (formerly known as the "Growth Team") before transitioning to the Asset Management Division (formerly known as the "Investment Team") as a Portfolio Manager and Head of Asset Management. For the 2023 - 2024 school year, Lan was elected to be the President of the Investment Club at USF where he will join other Executive Board members in serving over 2,000 members interested in a career in finance. Additionally, Lan is a Senior Advisor at the Real Estate Society at USF. With his involvement in these organizations, Lan quickly recognized that a career in finance was no longer a dream but a goal that he was set to achieve.
