My main task at Cambisol was to develop a new innovative drone mapping service for sustainable vineyard management.Main activities: Business model development, financial planing and strategy, marketing and communication strategy, webpage design and development, operation of drone missions, photogrammetry and 3D design.

Bonaire

In the third year of my BSc International Land and Water Management, I was working as an intern at STINAPA, Bonaire. During the exciting and inspiring three months I have spent on the island I have conducted research on the "Potential Erosion in the Catchment of Lac Bay, Bonaire", gaining experience in:- soil data collection- performing rain simulations and measuring runoff and sediment yield- using the RUSLE model to generate maps of potential erosion and runoff in the catchment- consulting and designing of SWC measures

Bonaire

While on Bonaire, I also joined Mangrove Maniacs in their mission to protect the largest mangrove forest in the Dutch Caribbean. As a volunteer I helped with maintaining, dredging and restoring channels in order to improve water circulation and quality in the mangrove forest. Moreover, I helped in the nursery with planting of mangrove propagules and assisted at a pilot plot, where BESE-elements were used for mangrove reforestation.
