Hello! My name is Lan Le, and I’m currently a sophomore at the University of Maryland, where I am majoring in Bioengineering on a pre-medicine track. My academic journey has been driven by a strong passion for understanding the intersection of healthcare and technology, particularly within emergency medicine.In addition to my studies, I am training as an EMT at the Branchville Volunteer Fire Department. This hands-on experience has not only honed my technical skills in patient care but has also strengthened my dedication to service and my ability to respond effectively under pressure. Working alongside experienced emergency responders has further fueled my interest in developing and implementing advanced emergency medicine technologies.With my bioengineering background, I am particularly interested in how innovations in medical devices and diagnostic tools can improve outcomes in emergency situations.
