CurrentDAN is a global not-for-profit company, in prior affiliation with Duke University, with offices on five continents. We are the largest association of recreational scuba divers in the world. Our mission is to help divers in need of medical emergency assistance and to promote dive safety through research, education, products, training, and diving services.Servant leader and case manager, appointed to manage time-critical cases for diving accidents, diving medical recommendations, and training in first aid. Increase operational excellence by consulting with clients, physicians, and facilities worldwide, utilizing a global network of resources to facilitate medical care, asset coordination, and evacuation from anywhere in the world.▶ Collaborates with global cross-functional teams in Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Europe, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa on resource distribution, project management, and troubleshooting.▶ Successfully manages and executes a diverse portfolio of complex multi-partner, international CME courses encompassing venue sourcing, event strategy, contract negotiation, travel, budget management, and post-event analysis coordinating logistics, financials, and stakeholder relationships for optimal outcomes resulting in a 100%+ increase in attendance in less than three years.▶ Currently assisting with global business development, integrating offices in the US, Australia, and South Africa to streamline operations and mitigate risk.▶ Designs protocols and spearhead internal projects for process improvement, proactively developing methods to increase dive safety awareness.▶ Authors articles for the industry’s leading publications and represents DAN at regional, national, and international trade shows, seminars, and conferences.
