I love figuring out how to best build complicated power systems for resiliency, focusing on craftsmanship, aesthetics, efficiency and quality products. I am the first certified Tesla Powerwall installer in Southern Oregon. I helped design, engineer and build the first stand alone Community Solar Project in Pacificorp's territory. I've managed/built over 1000 PV projects and have built a dozen generator based, temporary power grids for large scale music festivals. I worked with the City of Ashland's Utility Department and local Authorities to Pilot the first (and many since) Virtual Net Metering PV project(s), that allow residences and companies within Ashland to have stand alone PV systems installed remotely whose production is credited at other locations. I've been working as an electrician for over 20 years.In my free time I dedicate over two hundred hours a year as a volunteer for the Ashland High School Snowboard Team. I have served as the president of the board and as the head coach. There’s not much better in life than being a part of mentoring and supporting youth in growing up to be proud of themselves and empowered in dedicating themselves to their passions.
