Provides flight and area weather forecasts for more than 10,000 F-16, A-10, U-2 and transient sorties per year and issues resource protection alerts for approximately $3.4 billion worth of combat-ready assets and 7,200 base personnel. Managed $462,000 of fixed and deployable meteorological equipment and maintains an expeditionary armistice posture.

Placed a new focus on mission integration and weather personnel are expected to tailor the weather for each sortie. Every aircraft has different weather criteria that restricts or prohibits takeoff, route and landing weather. The weather flight uses their vast knowledge and training to professionally showcase Airpower by providing tailored weather briefs to aircrew that specifically impact the supported mission

Responsible for producing base or post forecasts, developing weather decision aids, briefing air crews, and issuing weather advisories, watches and warnings for all units in my geographical area
