My current role is Senior Counsel - Property at Transgrid. My previous role was senior associate in the Clayton Utz Real Estate team. I have over 20 years' experience providing advice to both public and private clients on strategic, commercial and legal issues affecting all forms of real estate and procurement related matters. The focus of my current role is advising in relation to developments, in particular, large scale urban renewal projects. My current role has also included a secondment to a retirement living operator during which time I provided advice on a broad range of issues concerning the operation of the retirement villages including compliance with the retirement villages legislation in NSW, QLD and ACT and the acquisition of new development sites.In my previous role as senior legal counsel at Ausgrid (a State Owned Corporation), I undertook a broad range of infrastructure, commercial and real estate matters. A significant part of my role at Ausgrid included working on Ausgrid's $8 billion capital works program.
