Before I go into some of my accomplishments in various roles over the years, let’s address how I can be of benefit to your organization.I mentor those that I work with to be advocates for the department and the company as well as to help them to bring success to themselves and the organization. I work within the constraints of the budget available to my department and always consider both the immediate and future financial impact of the decisions made for my team. I bring loyal and ethical commitment to getting the job done, whatever it takes, within legal and ethical guidelines. I promote a healthy work-life balance that I believe contributes to the highest levels of individual and team productivity, lowered staff turn-over and individual and team morale. Enabling a remote and mobile workforce deployment helps us choose the best talent for a role, more cost effectively without tying the role to a physical location. I help further enable the infrastructure and policies and procedures necessary to make this successful where it fits. While I am an avid problem solver I look forward to the day when all of the problems are solved, and efforts can be focused on activities to keep running infrastructure stable, resilient and secure with minimal staff overhead and no surprises. Some Accomplishments:• Saved more than $1,000,000 in Operating Expenses for Voice Telecom Services over a 5-year period through a combination of the redesign of the company’s US voice network infrastructure and strong negotiation of a new Global SIP Voice Service with our existing Global MPLS Vendor. This was done with a minimal ($25K) Capital Expense outlay.• Support of IT procurement, network and telecom infrastructure for globally diverse multi-user and remote environments with decades of technical and management experience.• As one of the technical leads for a major Windows 10 Migration Project for a national hospital network with thousands of computers to be migrated I was able to help improve and troubleshoot an underdeveloped migration process improving the success rate and minimizing downtime while avoiding data loss.
