Unit Program Coordinator
Current· Serves as resident subject matter expert for all mandated administrative support programs. Ensures unit program compliance with AFIs, laws, policies, and squadron commander directives.· Directly assists the commander/director in the management of multiple administrative support programs and functions. · Assists commander in accomplishing all necessary internal operations which includes administrative training, security programs, development of organizational operating instructions and personnel assistance. · Proposes alternate approaches to management for more efficient program operations. · Based on administrative support program requirements, determines administrative needs and assures these needs are met.· Identifies and implements processes which are intended to improve operations through automated technology or other methods. · Assists with orientation, training, directing or overseeing the duties and work products of squadron POCs whose duties are to support the commander. · Conducts reviews and briefings on all multiple areas of management and recommends courses of action when appropriate. · Advises the commander on policy and executes directives through the establishment of procedures for associated programs. Ensures assigned members are aware of individual requirements established by law and/or policy· Assists the commander in the performance of administrative functions associated with the supervision of military and civilian employees (i.e. coordinating personnel assignments, promotions, and performance evaluation products etc.). · Monitors personnel actions requests, tracks personnel, manpower and training transactions as documentation flows through the squadron and provides status reports to management. · Coordinates with appropriate offices and resolves conflicts effecting organizational positions.
